I got these on a whim. They looked cute with leggings, waterproof, warm (I hope), and a bit of a wedge heel. Nice. I thought the price I paid was good - $71, so seeing it today for $66 is annoying. However, I ordered a 9.5 when I'm normally a 9. As I believe other reviews said, the heel is sloppy, but I think that will be ok with winter socks. I've got extra room in the toe for socks, too. However, I could have probably gotten by with a 9.I do not have a high arch. I'd call it normal. I found these boots incredibly easy to pull on and off. My daughter has a high arch. A pull on boot or shoe almost never works for her, and this would be no exception. If you have a high arch, these will probably not work.Very comfortableThis boot runs 2 full sizes too small. I am an 8.5-9, I had to reorder a 10.5 for them to fit properly. My 13 yr old is a 6.5-7, and we kept the 9.5’s I had originally ordered for myself. WHAT THE HECK SOREL?Totally warm (even when wet), nice cushion, and the pull-on feature made getting out the door a breeze. I found them to fit true to size (wear an 8, bought an 8). I mentioned that they are warm when wet because they are so waterproof that they aren't breathable. My foot sweat collects and makes the interior feel damp, but stays warm regardless. Nasty, but the truth.I had to update this review because I thought I got a dud pair because of how damp my feet got. Turns out it was user error. I just need to wear thinner socks....This is my second recent Sorel order, first order of size 8 Whitney 2 were returned due to snug fit. My feet are not wide by any stretch, but Sorel boots do seem to run on the snug side. For these Out n About boots, I sized up to 8.5. Good idea. They are very cozy, soft boots with a spunky euro look, especially the silver. They are waterproof and if sized properly, pull on/off easily with the little finger handles. I would not wear these hiking, but for an everyday easy boot, they fit the bill.Love Sorel the brand. I have a challenging arch from top of foot to front of ankle. Makes it challenging to get into over the ankle boots. Thank goodness for three rows of loops on each side and back...I can get my boots on. Was hoping for a bit more cushion inside for the arch...however, they are light and warm and I hope to enjoy them for years to come. My last pair of Sorel's lasted 9 years.These boots are super comfortable & easy to pull on. I would buy another pair in another color if the price had not gone up. I’m really glad I purchased them & receive lots of compliments from others! I have a lot of friends watching to jump on buying a pair once the price lowers.Lining had to be cut out of the boots which declines the ability to hold the warmth.I had to return my first pair as they were ridiculously too small. I'm a textbook size 5 and couldn't even get them on. Definitely go half or even a full size up! I went half as size 6 wasn't available. They are still very snug, but fine with thin socks. They are really tricky to get on too as they are pull on, and narrow, but after a bit of wear they ease a little. Thin bamboo or silk socks help a lot, and thick socks aren't needed as they are super warm anyway. Use the side tabs as well as the back and they will eventually slide on! Apart from the sizing issues they are lovely boots and are getting a lot of wear this winter already. You'll not get cold feet with these.Lovely warm boots , very comfortable , went half a size up and they fit perfect ? been out in frost and rain and kept warm and dry .They looked great but could not get them on ! If you have a high instep these are no good for you. It’s a shame I had to send them back as they looked very stylish and u Vsn tell they are great quality just made more for flat /low arched peopleThese boots are very cozy. However they are very unflattering on the ankle area and lack support.Purchased these boots for walking. Specifically chose these because it said they were waterproof. Very disappointed as they most certainly are not waterproof. After 15 minutes of walking on wet grass my feet were wet
