2022 Women's Catwoman Costume - Superhero Jumpsuit with Mask for Halloween, Cosplay & Costume Parties | Movie-Inspired Bat Outfit for Women

So I knew this was a risk buying this...I have looked everywhere for a Zoe Kravitz Catwoman costume that DIDN'T look like it was from party city. I knew that all of the cosplay websites I found that had listings for this exact suit (specifically the one pictured above) all came from the same manufacturer/factory and it was a gamble whether you got one that looked like the picture, or accidentally got one from the other listings. I thought if it went through Amazon, it would be at least a LITTLE more reliable when I needed shipping info or refund info if it turned out bad.This is one of those scenarios, it took a VERY long time to get here, longer than the month long shipping estimate. (I think maybe 16 days longer) which I expected because it had to go through customs coming from overseas. Then it arrives and it doesn't look like the picture :( As you can see in the pictures above it has ribbing on the back unlike the photo (but like the other listings I saw in other cosplay websites) the zipper goes all the way up the neck, the spandex material above the leg area goes all the way down under the butt, the cowl/beanie I knew wasn't going to be good because I saw that in the photo so I wasn't expecting much there. It does have some strange pom poms on the inside though, I imagine to create the "ears" on the cowl, which it does not do. I thought with all of these flaws I could still make it work through altering. Unfortunately the shoulders are so narrow, an inch difference than the waist, and the arms are SO skinny I can not fit it over my arms enough to put the shoulder seems where they go. I believe the arm circumference is 6 inches!! My arms are muscular they aren't fitting in that! Forget trying to stretch this suit on either because the seems are so weak they want to split the second there is any pressure applied. As you can see there is no size chart so I gambled again thinking "it's stretchy, I'd rather it be a lil too small than too baggy" so I got a small. I am 5 foot, Bust: 35" Waist: 26" Hips: 36" because of my butt. It fits everywhere but the arms and shoulders. They are incredibly small and I have never met adult nor child that has shoulder width the same as their waist. The accessories aren't terrible, they are as pictured but the belt was too small even though the suit fit me around the waist without stretching. The belt barely touched. The gloves I think looked nice the fingers where a little long and the rest was too small for my hand but I have thick fingers for how small the rest of me is. The gloves even had the detail of the tips being cut off like in the movie, but didn't follow through to the last 2 fingers.(Oh and I knew you were wondering if it smells like all the other PU fake leather stuff that comes from overseas, and yes of course it does, but I expected that)So here we are and I'm not sure how they will react to seeing this, or if they will reach out me after seeing this review. I will update it if they do. For now though, I would not recommend buying this. It is WAY too expensive for what you get. You should make your own or have it commissioned like I should've done in the first place.
