Looks great. Shoes are a bit too tight.This is a great set- authentic and well-made. These lederhosen will last a lifetime! In the short time I've worn them, it's clear they will get better with some breaking in, so I suggest getting them well in advance of your need if possible, and wearing them a bit- I plan to wear mine around the house once in a while when I can get away with it to help the process along. That's not to say they are not comfortable and ready to be worn right out of the box, just that I think they'll get better with age and use.The shirt is also well-made, with nice, stylish buttons. Out of the box it's seriously stiff, so it's going to require a washing or two to soften it up a little. I don't see that being problematic though- just don't expect to receive and wear immediately.The socks are thick, nicely styled, and long- perfect for this application. The shoes are somehow very hard to put on without a shoehorn, but very comfortable once you're in them. Nice thick soles, and seem to be comfortable, but admittedly I haven't walked several miles in them yet. I don't see or feel anything to make me believe they wouldn't be up to the task. The only (minor) complaint on these is that the tongue sticks out kind of funny when you first get them on (it's hard to sneak the thick socks by them), and the edge that shows is not finished well, but with a little effort to tuck them in, they're OK. This may get better when broken in, and if not, and little careful trimming with some scissors will likely fix the problem.As to sizing, it seems to be a common thread in other reviews, but I still screwed it up anyway- I'd order one size up from your normal waist size for the lederhosen and at least two sizes bigger for the shirt, which is definitely a slim-fit design. Shoe size is right-on.I had a wonderful experience with the seller. As others have pointed out, when ordering you select the size of the hosen only. The seller will then contact you (in my case, immediately, despite it being late on a Thursday evening) to get sizes for the shoes and shirt (and answer questions, as the case may be). You can also select red or blue for the shirt. I received everything in one neat package first thing the following Monday morning. My exchanges (hosen and shirt) were handled flawlessly and must have been turned around immediately upon receipt. Good email communication throughout the process.I got these for our (first annual?) Oktoberfest party next month (I'm a brewer, passable as a chef, and it just so happens that my birthday always falls during Oktoberfest) and a planned trip to Munich (und Umgebung) next September/October for the real deal (did I mention the synergy with my birthday?!), and I am already wishing for more excuses to wear these!A disclaimer: I had to return everything due to sizing & schedule concerns.From the start, the seller contacted me nearly immediately to get the sizes for the various pieces, and it was shipped very quickly. The quality of all the products are very high, and they look great. This is not a 'costume' - it's the real thing, solidly built, and authentic. I got it right away and tried them on immediately.As other reviewers had indicated, there are some sizing issues. In my case, the shirt was short - I normally wear a 2x, and while the shirt fit well enough elsewhere, it ended literally right at my waistline. Any movement untucked it. Obviously I should have ordered a 3x. On the other hand, the pants were ordered and came labeled as size 42, but they were FAR too big. I checked, and it was 48 on the inside waist measurement. There was an area in back that could be pulled together (and it was delivered fully pulled) to reduce it about an inch, but it was nowhere near the right size. I could have hidden a whole ham in the front there.I contacted the seller to get approval to return the two items and got that same fast response. The seller indicated they'd send out replacements as soon as they got a tracking number. I did get the shirt on the Thursday prior to my event, but the pants never came. Since this meant I would miss the event, I notified the seller that I'd be returning all the items, and did so, which was approved.After all, an Oktoberfest Trachten isn't really every-day office wear, and who knows what my waistline will be next year.Based on the initial timing and quick responsiveness, I'm guessing this return/exchange delay was just a minor oversight, probably due to the number of similar orders coming in this time of year. Should I need an outfit in the future, I'll probably go back to this seller. I'll just make sure to be more explicit on the sizing and give a bit more time before I need them.I'm around 5'8", 150 lbs, and I usually wear a US waist 30-31. Based on the other reviews, I decided to go a size up and got the 32, however these sizes seemed pretty accurate to me. Unfortunately without the suspenders, these would fall right off of me and there was a fairly large gap on the front. The seller was very responsive to emails, and we arranged for an exchange of the Medium shirt and 32 lederhosen for a Small shirt and 30 lederhosen. Luckily the return package arrived just in the nick of time for me to be able to wear the next day for one of the 3 festivals I was planning on attending. The only downside is that they seemed to have sent back another 32, though it was in a bag labeled 30. The lederhosen tag says 48 though, which if I'm not mistaken does mean that the US size is actually 32, so it might have simply been mislabeled. Luckily, I was able to pull the center fly over to the right side flap button and it fit perfectly! Since it was too late for me to send it back again, I just spent an hour moving some of the buttons around so that the waist fit and the flap had something to attach to. Now it fits great and I don't have to wear the suspenders if I choose not to!I also didn't care for how long the straps were, and I think they only come in one size. For someone taller it wouldn't be as much of an issue, but I am using the top notch, and ended up trimming around 6 inches off the straps and resewing the ends so it didn't just hang off the front.Overall I'm fairly pleased with them, the lederhosen and shoes are quite comfortable, socks are a little rough, but I think they'll soften over time.Received everything as promised on time and the quality is top notch. This is not something that would come from party city for Halloween, this is actually something that will last for years. Everything fit as ordered except the shirts seem to run on the slim side. I normally wear a 2X and this 2X is a little tight, will be returning for a 3X. Can’t wait to wear this to our Octoberfest party
